Nature of the website

This is a personal academic website maintained by Valber Gregory Barbosa Costa Bezerra Santos. Its contents express solely the positions of the author and do not constitute a statement, service or endorsement of the Federal University of Alagoas (UFAL) or the Court of Justice of the State of Alagoas (TJAL).

Mentions of employment ties — professor at UFAL and civil servant at TJAL — serve only for professional identification. The site does not use the logo, coat of arms, seal, visual identity or domain of either institution, and nothing here should be read as an official page.

Institutional and independent projects

Projects presented as institutional (registered research or university outreach) are identified as such and accompanied by their public registration (number, issuing body and date). Without a reported registration, the site does not claim that an activity is outreach, institutional research or registered academic software.

The other projects appear on the Independent projects page, in an area separate from the institutional sections. While the documentation of affiliation, resources used and ownership is under review, each project displays the label “institutional classification under review” — and the site does not claim independence, exclusive ownership or absence of ties. None of these projects is an official system of UFAL or TJAL.

Legal and judicial content

Pieces dealing with law, the judiciary, jurimetrics or artificial intelligence applied to legal decision-making are educational and informational. They are not legal advice, guidance for a specific case or an institutional position. Examples and analyses use only legitimate sources and public data, aggregated or properly anonymised; no non-public cases, internal workflows, screens of official systems or internal documents are disclosed.

Ongoing research and preliminary results

The research pages describe work in progress. Where preliminary findings are shown, they come with the version date and the notice that they have not yet been submitted to peer review and should not be cited as final results. The status of each work (being structured, in development, writing, pre-submission, submitted, published) is updated manually.

Faculty career progression

The Academic activity page and the Science outreach archive organise public evidence according to the activity groups of Resolution CONSUNI/UFAL 119/2025. They record activity and use the expression “possible fit”: no score is claimed, and the assessment belongs exclusively to the CIADD/CPPD. The site is an index of evidence, not a substitute for the official record.

Copyright, images and licences

• Website source code: MIT licence (public repository on GitHub).
• Texts, own data, figures, CV and other content: all rights reserved; they may not be reproduced, copied or used, in whole or in part, without the express permission of the author. No Creative Commons licence has been applied to texts, data or images.
• Photographs: protected by image rights. Photographs with identifiable people are published only with documented consent; where no consent is on file, the image is removed or replaced.
• Third-party materials: references, public data and cited works belong to their respective owners and are indicated with source and link in each piece.

Corrections, removal, attribution and privacy

Requests to correct information, remove content, attribute authorship or raise privacy questions about this site may be sent to the academic e-mail shown on the Contact page, with the subject “Personal website”. That channel is for teaching, research and outreach and must not be used for commercial proposals.
